Wildlife in your Garden

Saw my first Swallow today.

It’ll be interesting to see wether the lock down has benefited birds and wildlife in general, with public access limited to a lot of areas such as mountains, moorland, forests etc
I think it must have generally given birds and especially wildlife the chance to flourish. Still doesn't prevent the lurking moron getting through... the poor swan shot and killed whilst protecting her nest at Stadt Moers Park, Prescot. God...the insanity of that. Vile horrible sadist...should be taught a lesson and not via a fine.

It`s the fact that someone has purposely gone out with a gun to kill a beautiful bird sat on her nest.

What on earth would possess you to do that ???

Its disgusting. Her and her mate have nested there for several years apparently and a member of the public found her. The RSPCA took her to a vets nearby (possibly ours) where she was found to have taken four pellets to the head and had to be put to sleep. I'd ban them and the law should stamp them out....yet you get weak idiots buying their halfwit teenagers them. Morons.

Some horrible rats round there. I used to live right by Stadt Moers and it's a lovely spot - especially after some of the work done in the last few years.
