Wildlife in your Garden

May be something in that.
We get plenty Buzzards around here and although I have also seen Red Kites here, I don't see them regularly.
If you get the train up the east coast into Scotland you’ll see a buzzard on a post in every other field. Seen a bit of an explosion of them round here. My auntie reckoned it was cos there’s tougher restrictions on game keepers

I was watching an old QI episode and they said why do we say red kite and robin red breast when they are orange and the answer was that we didn't have the word orange then !!!
Once on the way to Largs we were in a remote glen and a bird ,big bird flew along with us .It was a hen harrier I later found out and it was massive .

They`re all over South Liverpool, with at least two pairs that I know of nesting by me - the chicks are noisy as hell when it`s feeding time, so they`re not hard to find.

One of the nests it at the top of a massive Leylandii tree at the back of Springwood Crematorium.

When it`s windy the whole tree bends in the wind and I`ve no idea how they don`t fall out !

It's that time of year weather goes in the cold and wet into your garage or greenhouse where they do great harm - this is the ideal trap use cooking chocolate in the hole and set trap four to six - caught 9 already
