Wildlife in your Garden

Just now on my front step.

Great to see these running around , saw a couple the other night.
Didn't see one last year near me thought something had wiped them out.

Obviously not , lovely things.

They’re in a lot of trouble.

Gardens have become too sterile, slug pellets and getting run over amongst other things.

Thirty years ago when I worked nights, I used to have to make multiple stops in the spring / summer, to pick them up and move them off the perimeter road around Sefton park.

Haven’t seen an alive one for years now.

Think I've seen one in my life. That was in the front garden of my house few years back,

There's plenty of them just down the road from you where I am.

A year or 2 ago could see 5 or 6 easily per night .
But none last year , feared the worst tbh.

Next door built a Hedgehog station in his back and put feed out for them , 3 or 4 every night using it .Rats started appearing so he binned it.

But great to see them back & flourishing here.
