i hope that is not the case. Chermiti is signed with the money from Simms / Nkounkou etc
Gray will offset the outlay on Adams.
So that means a net spend of 25-30M for Gnonto, partially to be offset hopefully by further sales.
But even so i hope this club can have a net spend of 25M-30M in a major transfer window.
It is peanuts compared to some other teams.

Nothing seems to suggest that at all. Che Adams and Gnonto would have served different purposes in the squad so it's not like Che Adams is now our target because Gnonto fell through. I think we would have gone for a striker regardless of what happened with gnonto.

I was surprised we were still pursuing Gnonto after the Jack Harrison deal went through tbh. We'd almost have too much depth in the wing areas with gnonto as well. I still wanted us to go for him though because of his age and him being the right sort of profile to sell on at a profit down the line.
