Jack signed a new deal to get a loan clause put in, Jordan signed a new deal to get a release clause. They are different but it is why new deals were signed.
Look at all the new Leeds deals and signings, Kirstensen - loan, Koch(last year of contract) - loan, Llorente loan, Aaronsson - loan, Harrison - loan. Bournemouth missed Adams release clause for 20m so they bought him for 23m.
It was in reference to Brighton wanting Pickford and Pickford only signed a new deal but it’s the same as Harrison. New contracts for release clauses or loan clauses in Leeds case.
Everton will sell Onana, Gray, Pickford and Cannon. Interest from Brighton for Pickford.
Funds will be available.
I'm sorry but this deal or lack of deal is not our fault. The club has made many mistakes and is a mess but come on
We've done everything we can to the point where the player has refused to play. Leeds do not want to sell him unless for silly money. 30m is silly enough. So should we pay 50m for a player worth 4m last season?ha ha wow mate - this is all everton being everton
The issue is not signing the player; it’s our urgency for attacking options and the fact we’ve let it run on and on until 9 days from the end of the window. We’ve also just thrown away 3 points because, again, options were t sufficiently identified and brought in during the preseason. We've done everything we can to the point where the player has refused to play. That's not quite how negotiations work unfortunately. The issue is not signing the player; it’s our urgency for attacking options and the fact we’ve let it run on and on until 9 days from the end of the window. We obviously had an amount we were prepared to pay, offer it and set a deadline and if they don’t accept then move onto plan b
Now we are in a weaker position because from a negotiation standpoint
Which part? That's not quite how negotiations work unfortunately.
