So that makes him a good lower league manager.Apart from that some detail about taking Bournemouth from something like the 4 tier all the way to a few years stable in the Prem, playing good football.
But I'm sure anyone could do that. Easy peasy.
Easy: the priority was the JT signing and two new midfielders. Striker position wasn't even an after thought until DCL got injured, yet again, then the club had their hand forced due to poor planning/flat out negligence. You are right. but that really is a ridiculous situation to be in for a professional team spending millions on players, scouting, training, new stadium etc etc.
Having no fit forward till now, no competition for Dominic Calvert-Lewin when he returns is utterly stupid. You wouldn't do it for an u 12s team and for a team in the hardest league in the world...well.. I'm speechless at how the manager, backroom staff, board and owner can stand over that.
no i subject myself to torture every week instead out of choiceIs there anything stopping you?
doesn't that apply to like 95% of the managers in this league? So that makes him a good lower league manager.
Come back to me if he ever does anything in this league.
Yes Spud it does.doesn't that apply to like 95% of the managers in this league?
Well he did take Newcastle from looking over their shoulder at relegation last xmas to finishing within a whisker of the top ten come the summer. I mean it's no 16th to 16th grand feat but I guess we'll just have to disagree on whether Howe is a good Prem manager or not.So that makes him a good lower league manager.

Theres a lot to like about Eddie Howes record, but for me hes done nothing eye catching nor something I find impressive.Well he did take Newcastle from looking over their shoulder at relegation last xmas to finishing within a whisker of the top ten come the summer. I hear you brother!?no i subject myself to torture every week instead out of choice
Completely agree...thing is which of the managers would we have wanted to give a longer run to? Martinez wasn't sacked early, so Koeman? Silva? Allardyce? Benitez? I guess if Carlo hadn't left he'd probably not have been sacked, at least you'd hope not.The club has made big mistakes since Moyes left, one of them apart from dire transfer business was swapping managers every half an hour.
I think they are learning. Lampard's not even finished his first transfer window yet so it'll be next August this question may be asked......or not.
