I think it should be a dream like long faced statue of his head

Exactly like the one in St Helens

I think a statue should only go up either once he has left or passed away. Maybe if we had won something I would feel differently. I just think if you are the owner and build a statue to yourself it could seem in poor taste.

I would rather a statue of someone like Neville Southall be erected at the BMD Stadium, at least he was part of the team that gave us a lot of joy and left us with some great memories.

No, he shouldn't.

But he's more deserving of a stand than 'Mr Everton' who has managed our decline whilst keeping a large swathe of arse sniffers onside.

It's disappointing because a Kenwright stand is inevitable. I'll either have to sit in it or look at it. To be constantly reminded of that absolute horror show of a man will be nauseating.

We have far, FAR more deserving people from our history than Kenwright.

Look at what we have now. The HK Stand. Fair one. The Sir Phil Carter Stand. Again, fair enough. The Bill Kenwright Stand? Ludicrous.

He's achieved absolutely nothing. Tosspot.
Why is the Kenwright stand enevitable?
There are many people in Everton history more deserving of a statue.
Catterick, Kendall, Dean, Carter and to be honest Moshiri if he delivers the ground.
Who even decides these things? Why would we have a statue for the worst chairman in our history?

Oh it's inevitable to me. If I fear the worst it generally happens.

The BNJ part of the username? Bad News Jones. I'm very rarely full of the joys of spring! :D

Kenwright is determined to make this stadium move his Cistine Chapel, his masterpiece. The reality is he's have virtually nothing to do with the stadium beyond finding a useful idiot to build it and let him remain as Chair.

Never forget he was doing everything in his power to convince fans that Kirkby was our only option. Wrong, it was his only option as he had his pants around his ankles after doing questionable deals with 'dear friends of Everton.'

He was willing to take the senior club out of the city, to stick us in a retail park. We'd have been Bolton by now.

But hey, let them clap. He's a Blue.

If he drops a cool £500m on building us a stadium on the banks of the Royal Blue Mersey, does he deserve a statue / stand?

Build a statue to a man who's done his best to relegate Everton, made us a global laughing stock, and who'll saddle the club with a £600M-£700M debt to pay off over the next few decades.

Coming next from Tony Scott: "Shall we name our new home The John Houlding Stadium?"

He’s done his bit, poured in hundreds of millions for players and now building an iconic stadium. I’ll grant you he cannot hold the ball up, score goals or defend. His big mistake came right at the beginning with having a DoF who was useless, but let’s not forget all the other Everton management crew, players, coaches etc etc were still in place.

I want the man to succeed, not just for a bunch of cryarse supporters but for himself, anyone putting in the level of funding that Moshiri has put in deserves to succeed and it’s the people around him that should be taking the flak…..

edit…and No, only players or ex managers should get statues….

He is not paying for BMD outright out of his own pocket.
He has covering the 'deposit' so to speak...he will get it back, possibly in return for more shares...35,000 shares will increase to ??,000 shares - which he will eventually sell.
The rest will be some sort of 'Mortgage' it will have to be serviced - paid for by the Club.
He may 'own' the Club but I'm not sure that 'he personally' actually 'ownes' the debt.
That Ltd. thing is a cunning little beast
He paid off some debts, which he will expect back ??,000 shares will increase to XXX,000 shares.
He guaranteed spending (on total rubbish) on the back of his own net worth and the whole PL / sky money-go-round thing.
All the debt will, I fear, never appear in the column marked - debt 'F. Moshiri'.
But only ever in the column marked - debt 'Everton Football Club & Co Ltd'

Don't forget either, that Usmanov 'gave' him the Arsenal shares.
Then bought them back from him for cash.
That 'free cash' bought his shares in EFC @ call it an average of £7000
£7000 x 32,550 (93%) = £228,000
Current estimated value is £10,000 per share = £325,500 (93%)
How many 'new snares' will Moshiri create and thus accept as recompense for debts covered?
5,000? 10,000? 13,950? @£10,000 (or more by then?) a pop.
Moshiri will still own 93% of the Club...or rather the other minor share holders will still have their 1 or 2 shares...or more in Bills case...that total the remaining 7%.

Moshiri will at minimum have nearly doubled his money just on the shares alone and you want a 'Kin statue?
BMD gets built...at no debt to Moshiri, that debt is on EFCs books...
He can then get a bigger 'Value Added' price.

I've changed my mind - fairplay to him, he deserves a statue for the sheer brass neck of it all.
