I don't think anyone can dispute that Everton have been less competitive during his time.

But, it's not been for lack of commitment and effort on his part.

He's put his money in.

He's messed up - he's put his trust in the wrong people, including the current board.

He's been too involved (I think? Never sure what to believe...)

I said a while back he/this board would relegate us in 3-5 years if they continue to make the same mistakes as previous years. That risk has come a lot sooner than I thought...

BUT...

Lets hope he can use our current situation as even added motivation to get it right.

Like with the fan base, he's been too impatient. He's gone for the shiny current pick - Koeman and Walsh were the killers. Fans loved those appointments at the time but they absolutely killed us.

He's sacked managers when 90%+ of the fanbase called for their sacking.

Even the stain of Allardyce and Benitez I can forgive him for. Allardyce was always interim until Silva become available at the end of the season with Watford release clause. Benitez was the hoped for experience/safe pair of hands to get us through a season which we didn't have a pot to piss in. Perhaps even an easy 'whipping boy'. I know out of all the names shortlisted, I thought he was the best pick. Moshiri's mistake and one I called early on was giving Benitez autonomy to rebuild. Sure, treat him as interim after Ancelotti left us in the lurch - but Benitez was never the man long term and through "we cant keep sacking managers" he was given too long.

Criticism is easy with hindsight.

If he delivers Bramley Moore Dock and it isn't a failure (give us steep stands FFS!!!), and gets Everton back competitive then fans will adore him.

Make it right Farhad.

You've lost your head lad. 1 season in Moshiri's reign we are 17th and you act like the world is tumbling down.

We finished 17th under Moyes/Kenwright golden years

Flavour of the month clubs like Aston Villa, Brighton, Palace, Southampton have all had recent relegation scares.

Leicester were in a relegation battle the season after winning the league.

If we continue to get in relegation battles then thats when things become a concern but there is every chance this season is simply a crap season which happens - same way clubs like us can have a great one off season and finish 5th/7th under Martinez/Koeman.

Why does it matter if it’s one season or 5? And the season isn’t even over yet. I don’t know why you think we’ll suddenly bounce back to mid table next season anyway with the financial mess we’re in. I don’t believe you truly are thick enough to believe we haven’t regressed to the point of turmoil as a club under Moshiri and would say you’re just trolling at this point. Trying to be a discount davek and absolutely failing at it.

The Premier League is now basically set in three tiers, Moshiri has us rock sold in the third, I don't think we will go down now, but next season you can be certain week one we will be looking over our shoulders again.
The season after we came 17th under Moyes/Bill we did ok, we won't be doing OK next season that's for sure

Its quite simple - one is an anomaly and the other is a pattern.

Leicester won a league title
Man City have won about 5

One is an anomaly the other is a sign of an elite level club.

If you accept the reality of the PL being 5-6 elite clubs and the rest made up of clubs that bobble around having the odd good and bad season you'll accept the reality of what EFC is these days.

Or keep fighting it and believing Everton are too good to ever have the problems other clubs experience from time to time.

I’m not arsed about winning trophies right at this moment in time. We couldn’t be further from that. My only concern at the moment is the existence of the football club long term, because it’s under threat from this owner.

Says every club outside the "big 6".

Like it or not the RS have got it right on the field and that's for one reason and one reason only, they got it right off the field. The yanks don't like to lose money, look at what they did with Coutinho they let him go for an astronomical amount of money and brought in Allison, VVD et al for lesser sums and had money left over. The pie cans we have bought over the years is embarrassing and it is down to Moshiri, the man is a billionaire surely he knows how to get decent advisors right? Well wrong, he was roped in by that thief Kia Joorbichan or whatever his name is, a lot of the tripe we have bought has been down to KJ and he must be laughing at what he has made from Blue Farhad.

Anyway, I do believe that potentially this new regime under Lampard and his backroom staff will turn this around. If anything it is good to see the old boys on the way out and that DF is no longer having as much influence.

Name a stand or build a statue? Nah give it ten years in the new stadium and see where we are then.
