Well that's just not true at all mate is it. We were predominantly a top 10 team and far more stable before Moshiri arrived.

7 Seasons prior to Moshiri's ownership

2008/09 - 5th - Moyes
2009/10 - 8th - Moyes
2010/11 - 7th - Moyes
2011/12 - 7th - Moyes
2012/13 - 6th - Moyes
2013/14 - 5th - Martinez
2014/15 - 11th - Martinez

7 Seasons inclusive since 2016 under Moshiri ownership

2015/16 - 11th - Martinez/Unsworth
2016/17 - 7th - Koeman
2017/18 - 8th - Koeman/Unsworth/Allardyce
2018/19 - 8th - Silva
2019/20 - 12th - Silva/Ferguson/Ancelotti
2020/21 - 10th - Ancelotti
2021/22 - Currently 17th - Benitez/Lampard

All that proves was Moyes had us punching above our weight.

Once Moyes left we went to 5th, 11th, 11th under Kenwright and moved back up to 7th, 8th, 8th under Moshiri.

Nope, it proves that we were a much better club before Moshiri bought us. He has turned us into an embarrassing shambles and brought us to almost rock bottom under his comedic stewardship.

I cant accept that at all mate - people have short memories towards the end of Martinez's 3rd season we were plummeting.

Look at Liverpool under Klopp to Liverpool under Roy Hodgson, King Kenmy etc - same American owners.

Look at WHU under Pellegrini to Moyes - same owners.

The problem with our fanbase is we still believe we're only a few years of good management away from playing CL football and pushing Liverpool and City for trophies.

Its delusional - we're a midtable club same as Aston Villa, Palace, Brighton, Southampton etc.

Moshiri is scapegoat for UEFA/VAR/FFP having us in our box under a glass ceiling thats getting higher and higher the more the rules are bended to keep the big clubs and the TV companies rich and happy.

Bloody pesky FFP and Sky 6 keeping us stuck in mid table.

*subject to change

Fixed.

Who cares if we finish 11th or 17th? You get sweet FA for either.

If you was a boxer you would be happy to lose every fight as long as its down to points decision and not getting KO'ed.

Weird fan you lad - you never moan about mid table for the last 27 years just the one season we're 17th.

I care if we finish 18th. I know you don’t, as you’ve previously stated. Probably why you’re so in love with our owner who’s taking us there.

Yeah dead weird to be unhappy about going from 7th to 17th in 5 years after outspending every team in the country bar 4. I bet no other fans are unhappy about that situation.

But we're not 18th are we?

Its a mute point we're 17th its ultimatelyno different to 11th, 13th, 12th, 14th - you've pissed your kecks all season when we've not been in the bottom 3 once yet I haven't seen you say a peep prior to this season when we've been dog awful since Martinez's 1st season and a small blip under Koeman.

If you just want a midtable club fair enough but I don't care for midtable, I dont care what league we make up the numbers in quite frankly as its all the same when you rip it down to the bone.

Everything outside of trophies and europe is failure in my eyes there is no sliding scale of failure its just failure.

You are basically saying that you cannot accept something that is a fact mate. I have proven to you with 'facts' that we were predominately a top 10 club prior to Moshiri's ownership for the same period of time that he has owned us. There is nothing to accept other than that is the fact of the matter. It is reality.

Here is a short statement that sums it all up perfectly. We have gone from almost always finishing in the top 10, regularly qualifying for Europe, being able to compete against anyone and all teams fearing playing us...

To praying that Burnley and Watford get beat or draw so that they get relegated instead of us, being 4th favourites to be relegated, nobody fearing playing us, in fact most cannot wait. Being the laughing stock of the league with everyone taking the pee about how bad we are and how funny it would be if we got relegated, dreaming of how nice a mid table finish would be, going through more Managers and staff than Watford and all of this while spending more money the last few years than most clubs in the Europe, never mind the league.

It is absolutely sickening how far this club has fallen under Moshiri's stewardship and the worse thing is depth of the fall still might not be finished.

Please lose all of your last 7 games Burnley says Lob so we don't get relegated. That is what Moshi has done to us.

I've not argued against that - what I stated was the reason why we were top half was down to Moyes.

Was nothing to do with the ownership.

Had Moyes had Moshiri's investment we could have pushed on but Kenwright held onto us too long.

You are an utterly bizarre individual. We are in a relegation battle, we aren’t mid table. 17th and 3 points off the relegation zone counts as mid table to you? Relegation isn’t failure to you? Is that last paragraph essentially admitting that Moshiri has failed spectacularly because we haven’t achieved either of those under him either and yet have spent a king’s ransom of Usmanov’s dodgy money to do so?

I know it’s a bit embarrassing to admit you’ve nailed your colours to some questionable masts regarding this owner and the previous manager but there’s a reason you get ripped to bits constantly on here.

He’s not arsed mate as long as Moshiri funnelling Usmanov’s money into a stadium that he’ll lease back to us and probably end up asset stripping and having us play at Wigan’s ground when we’re in League 2 like Coventry.

And who do you think employed Moyes. Of course it is down to how the club is ran. Every single department has been completely trampled on and bolloxed up under Moshiri. He is a one man wrecking ball and it is no surprise that we are were we are under his ownership. This is Moshiri basically.

You've lost your head lad. 1 season in Moshiri's reign we are 17th and you act like the world is tumbling down.

We finished 17th under Moyes/Kenwright golden years

Flavour of the month clubs like Aston Villa, Brighton, Palace, Southampton have all had recent relegation scares.

Leicester were in a relegation battle the season after winning the league.

If we continue to get in relegation battles then thats when things become a concern but there is every chance this season is simply a crap season which happens - same way clubs like us can have a great one off season and finish 5th/7th under Martinez/Koeman.
