Will next season be a write off?

Same old! Same old! Tenth, ninth, eighth, seventh…somewhere in there. None of the names mentioned, as new manager, have the chops to change the status quo.

Any new manager shouldn't be judged before AT LEAST 2 complete seasons.

However, our absolute minimum target each season should be q/f of a cup and european qualification.

If we fail with those objectives, the club need to understand why and decide the corrections needed to fix it. So long as we have a recognised style and can see a upward trajectory, no matter how shallow we should continue.

My only worry is a new manager wants to asses his players. I definitely wouldn't allow it. Brands obviously has a kill list after the past 3 years, that list should be non-negotiable.
 
Nope sick of it, they need to sort their shiz out from the start. Not prepared to put up with a season remotely like last never mind just writing it off. We must improve.
 

Heart says we bang our head on the glass ceiling, head says we struggle until the new stadium and then continue to struggle. Can only hope a rich Sheik falls in love with Tom Davies and throws us a massive wad. More painful days ahead I fear. Plus ça change.

What we need are a few players with a backbone, who are willing and prepared to go the extra mile, strong personalities with hunter gatherer mindsets who are able to and can play on any stage. Players of the ilk of Reid, Keane, Viera...even Stevie G La.... who never believed in lost causes and who inspired the players around them. Sick of pretty boy ballers who swan around contributing f'all and not 'getting the shirt' but happily picking up major wonga each week.
 
If its anything like the last 26 seasons then yeah defo can't wait. Disgrace, I'm actually falling out of love with the game.
