Thought Rooney would be the best player in the world and could turn Everton in to a force again. In hindsight, its been the best for all United, Everton and him. Just another class player, not quite good enough to be the world's best nor turn a club around single handedly. If he never came back it would be no big deal, in fact I would rather he never.

I think his parents should have stepped in
Everyone knew he was on his way to Utd his agent was big pals with fergie I'm sure they lived near each other
Fergie even came out a few years later and said he wasn't going to sign him until the following summer when he would have only had a year left
But Newcastle bidding forced his hand
His dad should have made him stay for couple of more years
He was always going to get his big money move and payday

That's what annoys me about Rooney and Kenwright. They went for the money too quickly....he could have left on excellent terms at 23.

Arsenal home. Leeds away. Arsenal away. Euro 2004. Wayne at his very best. Him and families head turned by money and agent best buddies with fergie. I don't have any anger towards him. For all his success (domestic mainly) i still beleive his potential to be a truly world class player was coached out of him. That player who's first thought was to turn and beat 1 ,2 and 3 players in a Gascoigne like manner. To a player who for a long time now has played deep and not as a centre forward. We will never know if wayne had stayed would we have won honours by now. So no i don't believe he will play for us again and don't think he should.

For a so-called no.10 he's got an awful eye for a pass. Rarely, if ever, plays the killer through ball or passes incisively.
Honestly there's more chance of him buying us than us buying him...
But he plays those 40 yard pin point side to side passes that a lot of people love so much...

not really a number 10 is he .. he is meant to be a striker he's just ended up drifting back and becoming a number 10 .. be interesting to see how many assists he has over his career
