Will Rooney play again for Everton?

Whilst the venom isn't as strong as it was - no 'Fat Little Knobhead' chants today - the 'Rooney, what's the score? Rooney, Rooney, what's the score?' chants at the end suggest he's still very much disliked by many EFC fans.

The boy still is world class, today our tactics were spot on and hence he was ineffective and yes he'd walk into our side but never will this happen

You are right. Rooney was not a standout today but he has been a major factor in United's revival this year.

Allow him around the underage set up,and do what, tell them to move to a bigger club at the first chance they get,he's a judas,he had is chance, not only that he came back and kissed the Utd badge, jog on an die shrek

No need mate, we had to sell him, he's never coming back as a player, hopefully one day as a fan.

In time, people have forgotten how bad a financial situation we were in and how the Rooney sale may well have saved us.
We need to be grateful to Wayne and what his sale did for us...a true Blue.

Cheers Wayne for effing off to United and turning your back on your home city club which gave you a chance in football.

Muchos gratias. Really hope you are enjoying your £250k a week. Well in.

You are always welcome back as a fan, but don't ever think of coming back as a player when you are past it out of sentiment.

Thanks again. Us fans are so grateful you saved the club from bankruptcy and extinction.

Oh and Bill would also like to convey his appreciation for the sacrifice you made.

Once a Blue Forever a Red Always a Blue.

All true that.

The money from Rooney's sale came in very handy at that time. It wasn't essential for our survival as a club ffs.

The little sh!t and he's ego couldn't get out the club fast enough once the dangle of money and success was put in front of him.

Does that make him a bad person as a footballer? Probably not.

A true blue? Certainly he is not.
