Will we beat last seasons ACTUAL points total

We'll finish on 42 (which everyone would have gladly taken at Christmas).
It's not great. It's not even good. But it will do for now. At least we can begin to look forward with a small sliver of optimism.

Had my eye on that previously but can't see it now. Too many draws recently and tough fixtures coming up.

I think a great target for Moyes and the players would be to finish 13th, ahead of those around us. Seems realistic but will be tough. Really hope we don't allow Wolves to overtake us given how far ahead we were.

Moyes has 18 points from 36 available.

Pereira has earned 23 points from 45 available - very impressive and marginally better than Moyes.
Think you have to count in the fixtures with that.

Plus the 'fear' of relegation has probably given Wolves that little umph that we got in that decent run we pulled off towards the end of last season.

We managed 48 points last season.

With 7 games to go we are currently on 35 points

Forest (a)
City (h)
Chelsea (a)
Ipswich (h)
Fulham (a)
Southampton (h)
Newcastle (a)

With 21 points left to play for, will we hit the 48 points, are you bothered if we do or don't, and if you are bothered and we don't, what would you see as the reasons why?

I'd image we will finish on something like 42-44 points
Wasn't 48 was it

We won't match last season. Too many points thrown away early on. I really hope we get off to a good start next season and knock off all the Bramley Moore "firsts" quickly.
First home defeat?

First goal conceded?

First opposing hat-trick?

First derby loss?

First home red card?

First cup exit?

First sighting of the ghost of Bill Kenwright?

First sighting of Dan Friedkin?

Can see us gaining another 6-8 points. In or around 43.

Have to be beating Ipswich and Soton at home at then slim pickings amongst the rest of the fixtures - maybe two more draws.

Would be great to pick up another unexpected win somewhere, the City game in particular. But any of them would do.

I don't think we will. I don't necessarily think there's a reason why as such, just one of those things. Last season we put a couple of little runs together and ended up with a points total that probably most people wouldn't have expected either at the start of the season or at this point last year. This year we've only had one of those runs so far and the remaining fixtures make another one look pretty unlikely so we'll probably come up a bit short but you never know.

First to cable tie themselves to the goalpost?
First to pick their nose and wipe it on someone's head?
First to go on the pitch and demand a player removes his jersey causing the player to leave the field and never play for us again?

6-9 more I think. Would be very surprised if we got as high as 48

Low to mid 40s would be my guess. Beat Ipswich and Southampton and a few draws thrown in elsewhere.

Not great at all, but I think most here would have snapped your hand off for that point tally not so long ago.

I think we will end somewhere between 41-45 points, regress over last season overall, but Moyes will be around 25 points in 19 games, which isn't bad with this squad, especially because we were at 17 in 19 before.
