I am starting to struggle a little bit with how Geordie most England fans are tbf. I think the geordieness has been highlighted even more by this period of relative success England are having at the moment.

During the last euros there were plenty of posters on here saying they couldn’t support England because of the fans. I didn’t understand that at the time and thought you support the team not the fans. But then having seen the behaviour of the fans before the final it made me much less gutted about England losing than in otherwise would’ve. Then at Molineux in the summer demanding the manager’s head after getting us to our first final in 50 years the year before.

I could now imagine a time where I stop supporting them because of that but I hope that time won’t come.

Thank you for your honesty. Join us, brother, in supporting whoever England face and ride the very best rollercoaster that GOT has to offer.

If you’re going to judge a set fans on their worst supporters then you wouldn’t support anyone mate. Everton had plenty of fans who wanted Joe Royle out, before he resigned in 1997 (despite a very decent season in 96 and the cup win in 95). These people will always be vocal after successive bad performances, regardless of what went on a year or two before.

Saying that, England do have an overabundance of nimrods supporting them, no doubt there.

Yeah I know what you’re saying. But I think England’s worst supporters are quite a large majority tbf

The good thing about this World Cup for England is that you're very unlikely to see the working class chavs travelling to Qatar and causing chaos like previous football tournaments. I would assume much of the fans would be the white collar expats from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi, Qatar etc instead so the atmosphere should be good for England.

That's exactly who makes up the majority of the England fanbase though, most of the fans are from clubs lower down the football pyramid rather than PL clubs.

The ex pats are the worst mate. They'll all be on cocaine and the inner islamophobia they've been suppressing will come out.

It could be carnage.

I think there are about 500,000 Brits living in the Gulf? Many of those will turn out in big numbers and I'd assume it'd make this Wc the most attended by English fans.
Hi mate, what do you make of the atrocities caused by the host nation in relation to the use of modern day slavery, not to mention their appalling human rights violations in general.
