What? You mean positive? Madness isn't it.
Some of us have faith.....
Until we lose 9-0 to West Brom.
I think 'normal' was the word I was thinking of.

Koeman's comments about fitness were hardly insightful though. Anyone on here could have told you that our squads fitness was pathetic under Martinez. It's actually RK's comments about fitness that have left me more confident that things are turning for the better already.
As an ordinary fan, I am frequently guilty of thinking that it's me and not Koeman, a decorated pro and one of the most legendary defenders in the modern era, with 15 years in management, who knows best as to how we should play and who we should sign.
Koeman and Walsh know exactly what we need, on levels I could not comprehend.
I'm confident now that this will be a busy fortnight and we get the right players in. Hopefully at least 4, but Koeman is on this.
Or maybe the Mata rumor became so obviously untrue some people grasped the straw that was Carvalho in an attempt to convince themselves there's a warchest. All this is nonsense and will never come off.... BUT maybe, just maybe there was money for Mata and with that off Koeman and Walsh decided to use some of it to go in with a strong offer for William C.
Can dream. I think this guy would be brilliant.
Never happen though.....
Heck just take what is left of the "war chest" after getting Bolasie and Kone and throw it at Sporting for Carvalho, Slimani and Patricio.....then we could just call it a window.
And before you say nasty things I know that is not feasible........ It is however about as likely as us signing Mata, Carvalho and Witsel and we probably spent 2 or 3 thousand pages talking about it......

The other thing is if he tells it honestly and is fair with all the players then they won't get the feeling he is just picking on them. It's a tricky one. It could all go pear shaped but right now it's what they need to hear.Yes I agree with this 100%. You cannot turn around 3 years of negligence in that area in 8 weeks. I read that comment to be that the players are 70% ready to be where he wants them to be.
I like Koeman from what he says already. He is very honest and his summaries are always balanced and make sense. With Holgate saying he played well but was at fault for the goal was absolutely spot on. In other times I'd have worried that it might erode players confidence. However they have been pampered for too long, particularly under Martinez and a little under Moyes. I think some home truths are what's needed.
He is going to push people hard and we will see who is ready to come along for the ride.
