We need to buy about 10 bleeding players! A top quality right back, a defensive midfielder and an ass kicking centre mid for priorities.

But as the last few games have shown we need depth so if we cant improve the squad with every buy at least strengthen what we do have.

The DM is a tricky option, Carsley is ageing but is still good, but with our team advancing do we need a more skillful play (like fernandes) in that position?

Id like to get a DM, LW, maybe even another striker and get rid of one of our ones now...

Yeah i would be happy with him Nev or Hibbert at right back usually but they are the weak link in a strong defence so i'd put it at the bottom of the list of priorities.

I'm a big fan of Carsley's but I think he's got maybe one more year in him before he's an option off the bench.

I think RB is our main priority this offseason.

I disagree with you bill if we are to progress to the next level we have to replace him at the end of this season.(not sell just in the team)
Carsley has been a good searvent to the club and wears his heart on his sleave in every game but his pace gets found out against better opposition and he panics when in possession and usually gives the ball away.

we have to replace certain players with better quallity or we will not progress and afraid carsley is one of those players.

If they address both positions come summer time, I'd be alright with it.

But if I had to choose, I'd address RB first, then DM.

These are some players that i think we should sign, i reckon 3 of them...Milner, Arshavin, Bradley, Kallstrom, a RB (dno who!!), Owen, Lennon.

He is practically irreplaceable, yes he makes mistakes when he tries to do too much but when sticking to the task he is charged with - defensive midfield duties - he is fantastic. Plays a pivotal role in the team and I for one hope he is still plying his trade here next season.

He's not fantastic at all. Never good enough against teams that aren't lower than mid table. If we want to move forward, we need to replace him, period.

If he is still starting next season it means Moyes has failed to get it right and we won't be winning anything again.
