Without Neville, Carsley, Hibbert

He's not fantastic at all. Never good enough against teams that aren't lower than mid table. If we want to move forward, we need to replace him, period.

If he is still starting next season it means Moyes has failed to get it right and we won't be winning anything again.

Leave the thinking to people who actually understand the game, please.

Were 5th, i dont see why so many people are complaining about these "average players", yes we need one or two more players, but if players like neville and carsley were really that bad moyes wouldve replaced them. We will probably sign 2 players this summer i think...both midfield...

Pretty much agree. Spine of a good team there, just needs some quality additions in the summer.

Before starting threads of this type I wish some of you would just stop and think. Our small squad has spent the season carrying two players, Tommy G and VDM so before kicking people who have run their socks off for us all season get shut of the [Poor language removed] first.

I have deliberately not mentioned Fernandes as today I did see a glimmer of hope but never for the money that will be asked.

Carsley is now being treated like Stubbs and Weir, both of which still ply their trade at the top flight. His experience alone makes him worth keeping, that bloke has seldom let us down. Hibbo today was as good as anyone in our side and better than some.

Tim Cahill and James Vaughan have also missed an entire season between them which doesn't help one bit and Vic's Nigerian health scare could mean he will be out for longer than most. The boss should be recalling Skywalker from Plymouth and adding Gosling and Rodwell to the squad just to bleed them for next season

We do need more useful players and I am certain that David Moyes knows who he wants and how much he is prepared to pay for them

The one big thing to come from the match was Pips substitution, he didn't like it, Moyes called it so maybe we will never see him near midfield again. I wonder if his tantrum will be dealt with internally? On the other hand it is also nice to see he cares that much:D

Andriy says to make progress we have to start thinking about replacing the likes of carsley (which i totaly agree with). Then someone else pops up and starts slating andriy saying carsley has been great for the club and has been one of our best players and this arguement goes round and round.

It cant be that hard to understand that they are two totaly different arguements?!!
Yes carsley has been a good searvent to the club and yes he has been a very good player IN THIS TEAM. if like me you want us to progress as a football club surley to god you dont want us playing the type of football we have to endure week in week out? so we need better players to do this. Its quite simple to understand so why the the same meaningless arguement that doesnt make sense?

keep playing the likes of carsley- stand still
bring in better quality- progress

No one is saying that Carsley doesn't need repalcing, at his age of course he does but it is not a priority issue over other positions in my book.

Neville is cack and shouldn't be near our starting eleven and if he is to play, only at right back.

There. I said it.

You are not the first, will not be the last and I think most, like me, will agree Danny, end of mate(y)

Good to know. I have refrained from saying it for ages.

His sulk Yesterday... cheeky git.

TBH Danny if he'd had trooped off without a care in the world I would have been furious, it did show he cared.....................will Moyes discipline him, we will have to wait and see(y)

Agree to some part, but as Captain you just dont do that, it doesn't set a good example to sulk when being brought off. Undermines Moyes authority to an extent.

Remember Blomquist?
