From the way he's chatting there it sounds like this goes well beyond on the field.

Not reading too much into it. It’s a pure PR exercise, getting him to say what they know the fans will be thinking, to create the illusion that any of them give one.

Like a few have said already, the majority of these players have burned through a few managers now. They need binning. I think the scale of this “project” might do for Carlo before long, too.

Make no mistake, pals, there’s some (even more) dark times ahead.

Ah well, eh?!

...to be fair, he did say his own performance is poor. There is poor from a quality perspective and there is poor from an attitude perspective. Wholesale attitude problem is a concern.
It's like we're back to our worst of the season, the ball has become like a hot potato, no confidence, scared to tackle, no flair and as a team they look as if they've just met each other before kick off.
Wolves are a veyr good, efficient side but that by no means excuses our performance.

I know a lot of people are die hard fans for life, but I started distancing myself from the club years ago, after I had kids. I couldn’t justify what it was doing to my mood every weekend.

I still follow the club, of course, but I just make sure I keep telling myself not to take it so seriously. A win is great, but a loss now is just a shrug of the shoulders. Now and then I slip, but by and large I feel a great deal better.

Only a game, innit?

I'm like that. I have weaned myself off caring too much about what happens on the pitch, since most of it is either diabolical and/or boring.

I find the off-pitch stuff much more interesting. Transfer gossip, the new stadium, Moshiri etc. That part of it is like a soap opera where the football is a b-list horror movie.

Wolves fan in peace !

That was the worst I've seen Everton perform (Watch a lot of football when it's on) and although Wolves dominated the ball and really had to bounce back so made some changes we as a collective have been begging for I feel you guys seriously lacked anything really.

I assume it's a rebuild and Carlo needs a window or 2 to add some quality.

Richardson was not his usual annoying self and seemed anonymous, why does Tom Davies play for your great club? Pickford smiling and bobbing his tongue out pissed me off let alone you guys.

We were fired up and Podence and Neves played a huge part in today but how Traore missed I don't know.

Either way, a great result for us and I hope you guys get it sorted and we will see you again next season. Just make sure you do the double over our pathetic scruffy neighbours from West Bromwich please ;) and we will try to beat Liverpool (sorry I meant beat VAR)

GL boys and girls !!

I think half our team know they could be in for the chop in the summer. So they think, hey, if I play absolutely diabolical for rest of season then the club cant get rid of me as no one will buy me! That must be the plan!

Apart from that rubbish today I believe our reserves must also be as bad as the first team with 2 goalkeepers on the bench, what's all that about?. Nobody else good enough in the stiffs.

First game I have missed (in one form or another) for years.

Doesn't sound like I missed much, I had some family stuff to attend to but normally I would work around it, this week a combination of covid football being rubbish combined with Everton being even worse just lead to me not being remotely bothered.

A bit like the players really.

How did Branthwaite look? Give me some form of hope...

As Stekelenberg is going at the end of the season I assume it's to give Virginia a chance to mix with the first team squad. Hopefully their ineptness doesn't rub off on him too much.
