Just watched some of the 'highlights ' again. Although not our worst player, Digne is decent. He's not wonderful going forward. Today, during the bit where pickford almost let one go through him, just watch what Digne does. He basically stops and allows their attacker to run unhindered towards goal. He just starts walking when the player beats him. It was criminal.

He’s been immune to criticism others have received. He was poor yday and made bad decisions in dangerous areas. Like others, he’s miles away from his best football.

I've turned it off. All a bit too grim.

I lasted 70 minutes, then it went off! “a bit too grim” is too kind on them, a cowardly performance from too many of them, and worryingly I’m not even surprised any more!

Always wonder why teams defend the type of free kick we conceded from the way they do. Line up a couple of metres deeper facing the opposition and it's more like defending a corner. OK I know it's us,but at least the runs of attackers can be seen.

He gave him a 6 for his first half against Norwich i think and wrote it off as tiredness. He'd played 1 and a half games in 100 days.
