Ah so another 2-3 games of grinding out results as our squad depth is none existent.

With squad news (no DCL and Allan - Richie doubtful) - I think Carlo will stick with the 4-2-3-1 and try and snatch a goal.

Pickford
Godfrey Mina Keane Digne
Doucoure Gomes
James Siggurdsson Iwobi
Richarlison/Tosun

I don't think he will play James in the central no10 role, which means we have Sigg, leaves us awfully slow.
Would prefer Davies than Gomes as Gomes is terrible in a defensive role. And would prefer Iwobi on the right (played his better games there), but we are out of options, so he has to do a job on the left.

Godfrey - Keane - Mina - Holgate back four and just ping every set piece into the box to one of their fat heads.

Put Digne in there at left mid or something to take set pieces. Got no faith whatsoever in Tosun's ability to cause Premier League centre backs any trouble.
Love the idea of Digne at left mid. Not sure if James can play from the start after going 99 min at the weekend.
So maybe Iwobi right - Digne left and James on the bench. That's it sorted for you Carlo :)

No threat up front at all if we're going with Tosun. A bit like Fat Sam on Saturday going 4-6 against Blackpool. Maybe Mina can step up like Steve Watson did all those years ago.

With our injuries and the dreadful Davies/Gomes performances on Saturday - could see Godfrey/Holgate lining up in midfield

Pickford
Holgate, Mina, Keane, Digne
Doucoure Godfrey
Sigurdsson
James Tosun Iwobi

Bench: Olsen, Davies, Bernard, Gordon, Coleman, Branthwaite, Simms, Nkounkou
