Need a big reaction from Richarlison in this game. The season is slipping away from him, and potentially us, if continues to be as non-impactful as he has been.

GK: Whoever Carlo fancies in goal on this particular day
DF: Holgate Mina Keane Digne
DM: Doucoure Allan
AM: Iwobi James Richarlison
ST: DCL

Well after reading many of the posts in here I'm inclined to agree we should probs stick with Godfrey at LB for this one despite just saying Digne. Give him a bit more time to get up to speed.

Though part of me is thinking Carlo is gonna surprise us all with a back 3 and a start for Nkounkou at LWB.

Coleman starting automatically weakens us. The lad is done.
One of our best performers at start of the season and we missed him a lot when he had injured his hamstring twice. Still needs game time for fitness and rhythm. Though we were solid when we had the 4 cbs.

It's a strange season and I think some of the players like him who've suffered injuries need to be cut some slack

Only Carlo and his team can really assess if Digne, James etc are fit enough to start. But got a feeling he'll be exercising caution. I'd go with

Pickford

Holgate Mina Keane Godfrey

Doucoure Davies Sigurdsson (god we need another CM, when's Gbamin fit?)

Iwobi DCL Richarlison

Unfortunately with that line up I can only really see us scoring from a set piece. If only James could trot on and take them while still half fit like they do in the NFL

Always fancy Richarlison against Wolves, him and DCL on the scoresheet.

Wolves 0-3 Everton as a shock boss away win to us all

Not when it’s detrimental to the team’s performance.

He’s was rubbish last season as well. 4 games at the start of the season doesn’t mask his decline.

I think we really missed him in November and it took us going very defensive to rectify that, winning games from one chance.

We need a new rb in the mould of Aarons or Lamptey to replace him in the summer (now would be ideal but unlikely) but for now I think he still offers us pace, thrust, ability to overlap and leadership qualities that we cannot replace at RB with our current squad.

Holgate is a better option defensively but offers nothing going forward, which invites more pressure on us if we cannot get up the pitch effectively
