Do you find it slightly odd that nadal has been messed around so much with the scheduling of his games, he has had to be prepared to play every day since last the end of last week.

i reckon its in 'wimbledons' interests for federer to win, so they can parade him as 5 times successive champion, just like borg, and call him the best ever, and all that [Poor language removed].

could the match selectors have this in mind whilst allocating courts and ties? federer hasnt played for 5 days, so is very well rested compared to nadal that has been on court or nearly been on court every day.

and hewitt bows out.

wasnt going to win it with federer in the competition anyway - tenacity will go so far but it wont outstrip genius.

henin out, beaten by the girl who is 3rd best ranked in france, it appears venus is a nailed on winner because i cant see her replicating the game that put henin out, and venus will just hit through her.

mixed doubles victory for jankovich and murray which puts them through to the final.

i really hope they win, they are unseeded (i think) hes a great volleyer and shes a top player (third seed in the singles)

I remember women's tennis before the williams Brothers, it was entertaining, skillful and a joy to watch.

now its just a slow poor version of men's tennis.

federer wins, 5 on the bounce - quite the feat.

nadal played some great tennis, and if he continues to improve and federer doesnt sort that concentration out then nadal will be world number 1 sooner rather than (definatley) later.

5 sets, sun, great crowd, great opponent, great champion.

excellent.

jelena jankovich and jamie murray win the mixed doubles.

they were unseeded and this is their first grandslam title.

good day!

Think if Nadal's knee hadn't gone, he'd have done Federer, he was totally on top in the 4th Set, and the injury gave Fed a boost and got him back on his game.... don't think he'll get a 6th, it's Nadal's next year
