Germany had a nasty, cynical approach throughout the game -- they only played anything decent when they went one down. In ET they played for pens.

Absolutely sensational, the Lionesses have been fantastic to follow throughout the tournament, they fully deserve it

Revenge for 2009 and a second consecutive international win over Germany having never previously beaten them in 13 meetings before the game in February
