Out of interest @RAFUH, do they always refer to themselves as the somewhat clumsy-looking USWNT? Why not just England v USA?

Fans here care about both teams fairly equally so calling them USMNT and USWNT saves about 30 characters on Twitter

They have a weird habit of doing it for pretty much everything. POTUS, FLOTUS etc..

It's kinda weird though. We generally refer to our national team sports as Team USA.
