Most professional clubs mens under 19 teams would beat any womens team (including Spain)

Google is your friend for examples!
Who cares.
To me it's not and can't be an apples Vs apples argument.
I've seen 'good' football and 'bad' football at both kids mixed U8s and in the PL

'Good' football mostly wins Vs 'poor' football...and is better to watch.

You can only beat what's put In front of you

Spain 'bossed' England scored 1 goal missed a penalty. Should've scored a few more.
England, like Australia in the previous game, huffed and puffed even had them on the ropes for 10 mins after the penalty miss, but couldn't put them down.

On P42, I said England might struggle Vs a 'technical' team and so they did.

But who cares, on the whole it was a tournament that provided good entertainment, people turned up to watch it.
Roll on the Olympics.

So effing what? Most men's teams (including U-19s etc) are physically/physiologically stronger than most women's teams. It's apples & oranges.

My 1st experience of watching women's football was the 2012 Olympics. The pace & skill was exhilarating and levels have only improved since then.

My main disappointment with this tournament is that some national women's teams are starting to ape the worst traits of the men's game - faking injuries after minimal contact is by far the worst example imo.

Yowza...

Apparently when the squad landed back in the UK this morning they used a private exit from the airport and avoided the crowd that was there to greet them

Just seen that, doesn't look good with all the kids there waiting for them. Find it extremely unusual personally. Hopefully it's not a statement etc.

Let me bring you up to speed...not that you really need it but it sets the scene.

Two teams  lost their Semis
Those two losers played each other
one team  lost
Across the whole tournament this team lost 3 games.

Now the State Government, not doing too well in the polls, after having had the Public Holiday ploy pulled out from under them, have now suggested putting up a Statue to commemorate this team

Just sayin like
...did I mention losers

Edit; I forgot to mention they want to put it near the local equivalent of The Dixie Dean Statue
