Think you missed my point pal. Your post implied all Indians are Hindu which isn't the case; different regions of India are Muslim/Sikh/Hindu.

Hindu is the main religion of India. In fact Pakistan and Bangladesh were created as an area for the Muslim population of India to live in peacefully.

If people refer to India as a Muslim population it is fundamentally wrong as it is a minority religion there.
