Concealed carry and you'd have two less radical Muslims in the world. But let's not discuss the obvious.

Let's talk about the new knife control laws that England will soon be implementing because we don't want a tragic incident like this one to go to waste.

Right?

Chirping effn crickets.

Brennan will probably stat the crap out of this Bill, but for my 2 cents the comparison isn't very valid, there aren't weekly beheadings in the street with meat cleavers in the UK like there shootings in the US.

In Australia most murders are via knife.

Awesome thread for point scoring Bill.

Notice the downhill trend in firearm murders but the upward trend in knife murders. 1996 was the Port Arthur massacre which is why there is a spike there.

Yes, because firearms are no longer as easily available BundzZ. Plus you can't make a kitchen knife illegal, it has another purpose. A gun has one purpose only, to kill. Otherwise you're gonna want to ban cricket bats, cars, hammers, 12 inch rubber cock, hell anything you can use to murder someone.

Plastic knives only? Surely you cant do much damage with those.

Just read all the pages and its amazing how quickly things went mad on here, got ramped up inside a page or so.
I form my opinions from what I see, hear, read and temper it with a bit of gut feeling.
Sometimes right wing/left wing views being aired can be informative but this is wrong time/wrong place in my opinion.
Some big assumptions being made on both sides of the "debate''. I'll paraphrase so don't quote me as misquoting its either 2 muslim nut jobs who slaughterd a young guy in the street or 2 nut jobs using islam as a "reason" to slaughter a young guy in the street.
Either way the young guy is dead and he died in an horrific way, on a London street in the middle of the day. R.I.P

Concealed carry and you would probably end up with an annual murder rate like the United States. No thanks, I'd rather not.

I do not in anyway condole what happened today, any type of violence is uncalled for regardless of what the perpetrators decide to base its argument on.

However, I do think that now is the time that we in the West re-think our attitude on the middle east. Our continued support of the terrorist state of Israel has caused great friction in the middle east, and we're going to end up with the brunt of it.
