Can't watch that video, what they are going through now I can't imagine.

Which when you actually bring into perspective- no matter your view on muslim extremists, Britain being a soft touch, Afghanistan etc etc. Their son/husband was murdered in cold blood, they are the ones that are living with this right now.

Horrific.

Dont really care about any ins and outs- watch this:

Heartbreaking.

I'm glad the police didn't shoot the two fellas dead - now they will be dealt with by the law (and probably be back on the streets in 10 years time)..

Bluemangroup, fair enough mate. I still wouldn't agree that BNP voters come are disalusiond torries as the BNP anymore then they are ex labour. I honestly don't think most of the idiots who vote BNP have ever voted before. Its UKIP who are stealing votes of both of them. I wish more left wing people would vote for the Greens or anyone else other then Labour or Librel Democrats, only by voting for the smallier partys will the bigger ones take any notice.

I don't think those that voted BNP in places such as Yorkshire and the like where disillusioned Tories, more they were voting as an appeal to the bigger parties to take notice of the issues they felt they had in that area, if that makes sense.
I feel we are getting a bit off message though. Feels wrong to get political when something as tragic as the video above is going on. RIP

It makes total sense, that's why all partys on both the right and left badly need to change the way they talk to the people of this country. The Immigration issue needs to be talked about as does the EU question, let's get all these things talked about now and stop pretending that they don't matter, because they clearly matter to a lot of people. Once people can see that they are not being ignored they will stop paying attention to these joke partys

Right last one, as I do feel we are detracting from what's happened. I agree that the big parties don't really represent people all that well. I'd suggest a broader spectrum of people/political views was incorporated on both sides. The big parties don't have that variety or conflict within to deal with big politics. It's two groups of people, both who seem to think nearly identically to everyone else in their respective party or are too concerned with doing what's best for votes and appealing to people. This means that big issues, divisive issues, don't get dealt with and politicians are seemingly happy to get in to power, overturn a few of the things the previous government did and barely scratch the surface of what actually matters, largely because they have little time to implement any change.

Couldn't watch more than 30 seconds of that. This is the reality of it all people

This from the Guardian had me in bits -

"The last text Rigby had sent to his mother, he said, read: "Goodnight mum, I hope you had a fantastic day today because you are the most fantastic and one-in-a million mum that anyone could ever wish for. Thank you for supporting me all these years, you're not just my mum you're my best friend. So goodnight, love you loads."

F***ing hell.

That last text, as sad as it is, its quite fitting that his last text to his mum is as nice as that. Mine would read "k"

Someone was reportedly running around London Bridge station with an axe, it's apparently a hoax, who does that?
