The use of "yay" instead of " so " :

In terms of spelling being different to pronunciation, I would say a Lieutenant is higher up the ranking than a Colonel. :coffee:

i do not agree. i can see the reason for all the letters in lieutenant. however colonel should at least have " r " in it, and the first o should be an " e " instead of " o" .
so the spelling should be something like kernal instead of colonel.

You're probably speaking American English over in Norwayland though. Here in Britain it's pronounced leftenant rather than lootenant.

oooh. i see. Yeh its more american english cause most tvshows and movies are american.

the only british-english sentence i know and i remember from school is (said in british accent) "Could you show me the way to the bakery please? "

Well you never know when you'll need a pie in London mate. If you ever find yourself in Wigan though you'll need "Weears pie shop?"
