Said it Pre-Tournament and I’ll say it again.

This World Cup had the potential to be the best on the pitch for years, and it’s even surprised me.

What a tournament this has been. AFC sides causing shocks everywhere.

Fancied sides like Denmark, Germany, Uruguay and Belgium crashing out early. Japan, Morocco winning groups, it’s been absolutely perfect.

Roll on the knockouts because if they’re anywhere near as good as the group were in for a treat.

What a shame this is the last 32 team format, because it’s absolutely exhilarating.
