Would like to have seen Ivan Toney make the squad but with Kane, Rashford and Wilson I guess no room for 1 more.

Really not sure about Maguire, Phillips and Sterling as surely they are purely loyalty picks
 

I’ve backed Argentina to win it for a while now but I think Germany might edge it. I think the fact that Kimmich, Goretzka, Musiala, Gnabry and Sane all play for the same club can be massive for them.

Musiala could be the star of the tournament.

My point is that the western media are hypocrites in any case. We all know what Qatar is. If they really wanted to take a lead on this they should be running stories all year long of British businesses and the UK Government making deals with regimes like Qatar and Saudi - but they wont do that because it's a fast-track to getting sacked...football is the easy target for these cowards.

True, I know loads of people will watch it, I just think even not including the political situation it’s in a country that’s too hot, and it’s in the middle of the European season so the standard of the games just won’t be as good either. Plus there’s barely gonna be any fans there other than super rich ones

They lack pure striker (expect that Dortmund 17 yrs old wunderkind).

Good attack with Gnabry and Sane as wingers and Musiala in support (plus ever reliable Thomas Muller) but lack of pure strikers could cost them.
