Just unthinkable that you'd have a 48 and a 49 year old still at the very top of the tree. You think how badly Davis and Hendry fell apart in their early 30's and we are talking nearly 20 years extra. Amazing.

Both Hendry and Davis had vanquished the majority of the challenge, hearn took the game up a few notches, Davis loved his traveling partner (Dad) and Hendry was a bit jaded, new era, more snooker, more players, more ranking points, and he was incredibly wealthy already.
Strange watching tonight, O'Sullivan the most gifted naturally talented ever, and Williams that's gotten better as he's aged apparently with a bit less practice. Could have been something in the water in 92.... maybe...
The standard at it's best is amazing though, like a relay race, they all get a turn with the baton of superlative stuff, but it never lasts.
