Ginger Baker when he toured as Baker- Gervitz Army, or similar. Stoned out of his mind , couldnt play and reacted to the boos with “ Yeah, yeah , I’ll blow your mind in a minute”. He never did though .

Have to agree with this. Saw him do a set at Ally Pally and it was very average. I was bored out of my mind and left early.

On the contrary I saw him at Reading festival around 2015 and he was pretty good.

….mmm, thinking about it I’d have to say Van Morrison many years ago at Liverpool Empire. From the moment he got on stage you got the impression he didn’t want to be there. Very grumpy, very disappointing.

i think there are artists you can either see on a ‘good day’ or a ‘bad day’ & this was definitely a bad day.

Moving on from music, by a mile, the worst act I saw was Roy Chubby Brown. I had never heard of him, but a mate dragged me along. Jeez, the absolute pits.

I saw Bob Dylan at Wembley stadium, must be 35 years ago. The bill was him, The Pretenders, Santana, and UB40. I am still unsure if he was good, or not. But he was joined on stage at one point by Chrissie Hynde, Carlos Santana, and Eric Clapton. That bit was memorable.
