Worst act you ever saw live

Stone Roses at Spike Island got nowhere near the hype
The Wonderstuff had one good track which was a PWEI cover
Jamiroquai made me violent they were so gash
I liked Big in Japan at Eric's, it was a 'friends' thing, especially when Jayne Casey's leotard strap broke and her ample left tit popped out, and stayed out all the while she asked for a safety pin ?

Badly Drawn Boy at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. Damon arrived on stage about 5 mins after his band, he was completely hammered and couldn’t stand up properly.

After smoking a spliff and attempting to sing a tune he collapsed. The band played on for another minute or so then just got off and left him lying on the stage.

Metallica at the M.E.N. Arena during the death magnetic tour. Had really bad tickets on the back row, the sound was off. The sound just went up and could hardly head the music. Was strange. Seen them few years later and was much better

Kings of Leon.

Saw them in the Academy in town and they were pretty good, this was before they made it big.

Saw them in the Arena in town after Sex on Fire and all that and although they were proficiant enough they may as well have just pressed play on a tape and left. No conversing with the audience or anything. I'm suree the house lights were up all gig too.

There is a band called Robot's in Disguise who were a support act for someone (Electric Six maybe? Someone of that ilk) that were utterly horrendous but I dont think they were even supposed to be good.

Most of the worst gigs I’ve been to have been hip hop gigs of artists I enjoy.

Unless it’s proper band style stuff with actual musicians like The Roots etc then hip hop imo is generally absolutely awful in a concert environment.

It’s usually just a big old mess of dudes talking/shouting over each other all the time, poor delivery of lyrics relative to the recordings and some annoying as hell hype man constantly shouting the same inane soundbites.

Was going to say Kings of Leon myself. Played loads of great songs but was just missing something, very flat.

Saw them in Manchester Academy, they were rubbish, dull and boring.
