I enjoy the rich Viking heritage of York, the impressive textile history of Huddersfield and the amazing work in the financial services when Bradford and Bingley teamed up. And if I need a new spoon or fork, I'm over the Penines to see what the incomparable cutlers of Sheffield can provide. I am also impressive with whatever Leeds is famous for.

In fact my dream is a PL made up of 19 Yorkshire teams and Everton.

Can you imagine what this forum would be like if that had happened? It would be a surreal recreation of the Fylde thread but with Everton.

I wish I could find the news report from years ago... Someone famous (I think it was an artist but may be wrong) said hull was a dump and the people were all backward. The reporter went to hull to ask the public what they thought of the comments and it was like looking at a load of orcs from lord of the rings. They were massively overweight and could barely get their words out through their tombstone teeth. Was almost like a brass eye sketch.

Sounds about right.

I've been there a few times, only to do some training for work, and it is RAF ! Don't get me wrong, I met a couple of alright people , but the place as a whole, is a hole ! Not a fan of the accent either if im honest
