Simple answer….NO.

We got into this nosedive early on in his accursed tenure.

One of the wirst…maybe even the very worst…managerial appointment we have ever made.

Won't help. Even though I wanted patience when he was in-charged, I was terribly mistaken. Being unpopular is the least of his flaws.

He completely shattered the confidence of the players. Stubbornly stick to formation and players who already proven not to work.

ONE thing he probably help is to lessen the burden of FFP on our club, and maybe maybe helped us avoid points docking. Another is giving chance to Anthony Gordon. But the morale and the mood of the team overall was deteriorating under him. And we couldn't defend, couldn't attack under him.

During his last 15 weeks in charge we accrued just 6 points. So no! He also sold our two best players just because of obstinacy. His is the most disastrous managerial appointment in our club’s history.

Let’s not forget, too, that he inherited a top 10 team - last season we finished in the top 10 under Ancelotti.

okay stopped laughing yes of course he would of kept us from the drop. As his master plan which he wasn't able to implement ,was to intentionally go on a massive losing streak, sow discord in the locker room and discard our two top creative players as a ruse to get teams to drop their guard and go in over confident when we played them on the reverse fixture. but tragically his plan was not instituted due to the deranged and impetuous Everton fans who weren't sophisticated enough to truly fathom Benitez's brilliant scheme and got him sacked before the launch of the second phase of the plan.

No. Stain on our club. Sold James and Digne, crap tactics and horrible to listen to.

He is a major reason why we are currently in this position.
