would you call suarez a cheat?

Its cheating to the Maximum.

My opinion, straight red, goal allowed to stand. Suarez taken out the back and shot. Never to be heard of again.

Agreed. All Gyan had to do was convert the pk and he didn't. It's his own fault not Suarez, all he was doing was taking one for the team. Just like any open field tackle on a soon to be break away.
 
Its Cheatng, he used his hands to gain an unfair advantages and by that its CHEATING. there no other thing you can say. He cheated Ghana out of a goal but got sent off for it. Its the same as diving to win a penalty or pulling a player back in a goal scoring opertunity. Everyone would of done it. However in that instances i think a goal should be award as the attackers arn't really getting an advantage. Lets be honest. ITS A GOAL till he hand balled it. As Mardonna did, he handballed it which is Cheating an got away with it.

I think he could have headed it clear, so it was a bit daft.


And, I don't think anyone in that position would have done the same.
 

No. It's part of the game.

The other player on the line makes an even more spectacular, blatant effort to handball it.

Any footballer would have done the same thing.

It's against the rules of the game to foul someone so on that basis every player on the planet is a cheat. For me cheating is going against the spirit of the game. Diving, Simulating etc
