Would you pay £24m for Lukaku?

What is the maximum you'd pay for Rom?

No chance he would go to them.
I wouldn't blame him if he went to Chelsea, City or United. I'd say good luck and i'd keep an eye on how he does in his career. I'll never moan at a player for going to a bigger and better team for more money.

????

Because it is.
Why would Roberto lie? He's said numerous times how he was saving the money during January, everyone with a brain knew it would be saved to go towards the signing of Lukaku.
Roberto has also signed a new 5yr deal, an ambitious manager like himself wouldnt of signed without guarantee of funds. We have £22m to spend.

So thats why it is wrong.[/QUOTE
Moysie used to say we had money as well but without selling he was wrong.
Why would Roberto only sign his contract if he was guarentteed funds you dont know that.
The proof will be the 1st september.
So again why is it wrong?

You really think a manager like Roberto would sign a contract without guarantee of funds? Okay mate. Okay.
Why not he likes bringing the young players on.
At wigan he did and they had no money.
There is no way we have 22 million pound to spend on one player unless we sell.
How many summers have we been through the same thing and come the end of august its always the same.

It's this mentality that allows Kenwright to continuously get away with it.

Of course there is money to spend.

I'd say he would.

And relish the challenge.

However, if he was promised X million pounds to spend on players only for the funds not to be forthcoming then I could see him resigning on a point of principle.

I think Bill would think that about him as well ergo I will continue to accept Bobby's word for things until proven otherwise.

Sky Bet Odds on Lukaku to Everton is 8/11. Those are really low odds and some places have him off the board. That is sounds as if it is nearly a done deal? Is it possible it is that close?

I know he's only one player but if we don't win anything next season or finish higher than fifth we can't be too upset or let down. I'm sticking my neck out here, our season may depend on this signing.
