Because it is.
Why would Roberto lie? He's said numerous times how he was saving the money during January, everyone with a brain knew it would be saved to go towards the signing of Lukaku.
Roberto has also signed a new 5yr deal, an ambitious manager like himself wouldnt of signed without guarantee of funds. We have £22m to spend.

So thats why it is wrong.

OUT:
Fellaini - £27.5M
Jelavic -£6.5M
Anichebe - £6M

=£40M

IN:
McCarthy - £13M
Kone - £6M

=£19M


£21M in Bill's pocket and that's just purely on the last window without the profits elsewhere, of course we have it to spend.

Taking everything into account, I reckon we should have around £35M to spend and I hope we use it well!!

Let's say out of that £19M a further 6mil was spent on loans and stuff, so let's say for arguments sake there's about 15mil left, then we got 80mill ish from tv and revenue, for the board to only give us a further 15 to 20mil on top is a bit tight i think, so i'm gonna predict they give an extra 25 to 30mil, which is 40 to 45mil for Bobby but he wont spend it all this season, he'll keep some stashed away incase he needa it for a futurw purchase or two

i'm sure everton know that as well. he said he wants to play CL, who can blame him?
