he has been linked with Liverpool, Arsenal, Juve...or he could stay at Chelsea, all in the champs league. He might not be first choice or get the love he would at Everton but that night not be his first requirement

That's just a collation of rumours from around the media. It's not the Guardian reporting it themselves.

The rumour came from Caught offside, the jargest of jarg on the net and has zero credibility.

Certainly possible but if the odds get really short there might be something to it. Moyes next utd boss went from pretty long odds to 1/4 very quickly last year, well before any thing was announced.
