Welback is a massive YES for me! Brilliant at best, imagine Martinez could get the best out of him on a regular basis.

Offers a different option as inside forward as well.

Last season Welbeck scored 2 goals in 40 games. That is f*cking dreadful.

He started 8 games up front last year.

In the league this year when played up front he is 9(4) apps and 9 goals. Better minutes per goal this season than Lukaku. Also has 8 in 14(7) for England.

Before he joined Liverpool Sturridge's record was 38 goals in 140 games.

There's a good player in there, maybe not for us. If he's played up front he'll score goals for someone.

I'd take him for the right price...probably 8 million or under.

Young strikers are something we need. Never pay what they'd want for him though. I worry that the weight of expectation on him will ruin any potential he has.

I think even that is too much. Strikers are valued for the goals they score. He doesn't score in the league. £5m-£8m is his value.

He doesn't even start upfront to judge him as a striker.
