Someone mentioned Cahill as possible assistant. I'm sorry, decent goalscorer (not a great player), as he was, he hasn't a clue. I've seen him as a pundit over the last year or so and his opinions on football make about as much sense as my granny's.

he's as bland as they come, and when he speaks, I come away remembering nothing of note in any of his utterings. Not the sharpest tool in the box methinks.

He did the same at West Ham. Alan Irvine was the number 2 and, in that case, Stuart Pearce was the fan favorite coach. Worked well there actually.

He isn’t my first choice but he does a better job than Marco Silva currently is. That Everton side doesn’t concede 5 at anfield with Moyes in charge.

Bring Moyes in, get back to basics, sort the defence out and start picking points up. This clubs been a mess since David Moyes left
