Would you welcome back Wayne Rooney back to Goodison ?

No. He would demand to high a wages which could be split amongst multiple up and coming youth. Nothing to do with the manner in which he left. Just don't think it would be a wise decision based on our clubs ethos and financial capabilities. It would only be for nostalgic reasons, as by the time he would likely come back to us he would be past his best.

If however, he was still boss and didnt want high wages....then its an obvious yes......but I cant see that happening.

Fair point. However I don't think he'd demand anything too ridiculous. He clearly loves the club and I doubt he demand any kind of deal that would force us to break our wage structure. He's already got more money than he probably knows what to do with.

He is on the same wages as Tevez, so it will always be unlikely.

Even when he is passed it (and no longer good enough for Everton) he will still get far more lucrative contract offers from America and the Far East.

The only way Rooney is coming back is if he decides to buy the club himself.

Has that EVER been done? In the history of football, the player owns the team?!

wont' happen.

Rooney will play for us..but not as an owner.

wouldnt want it to happen , plus he is a worse player than when he left, never goes past anyone anymore granted he's a better TEAM player but he's lost his edge, his best performances for england have been when he was in a everton shirt.

He owed us 1 more season, not fit to lace even fergusons kids best mates boots ........

Everyone saying he is a worse player now is clearly just clutching at bitter straws because of the performances he has put in wearing an England shirt. At club level, he scored 27 in 34 games last season. If he can pull anything like that out of the bag then yes. You don't just lose raw, world class talent.
