Can't see it happening until he is past his best, so sorry, thanks for the memories but no.
Rooney past his best would still be one of our top players.
No. He would demand to high a wages which could be split amongst multiple up and coming youth. Nothing to do with the manner in which he left. Just don't think it would be a wise decision based on our clubs ethos and financial capabilities. It would only be for nostalgic reasons, as by the time he would likely come back to us he would be past his best.
If however, he was still boss and didnt want high wages....then its an obvious yes......but I cant see that happening.
He is on the same wages as Tevez, so it will always be unlikely.
Even when he is passed it (and no longer good enough for Everton) he will still get far more lucrative contract offers from America and the Far East.
The only way Rooney is coming back is if he decides to buy the club himself.
Everyone saying he is a worse player now is clearly just clutching at bitter straws because of the performances he has put in wearing an England shirt. At club level, he scored 27 in 34 games last season. If he can pull anything like that out of the bag then yes. You don't just lose raw, world class talent.
Maybe you should tell Kaka that lad!!!!!
