Williams as a defender is as questionable as Sandro as a striker.
Ashley had a good game away at City in his first season and did ok up to a point but you could see he was past his best.

Bolasie was a terrible signing. He always did well against the RS and us for Palace so perhaps we were blinded by that.

Hopefully Brands will have closed the book on lavish spending on dross. Promoting the youth would make most sense at this stage unless we really can unearth or gem or two.

Williams is a real weird one, as I was convinced when he was given the captain's armband that he was a changed lad.

He led me down massively when he tried to basically get sent off on purpose on multiple occasions.

The rumours he tried to force a move on transfer deadline day in January as well just screams the fact he needs to be let go.
 

probably for the best, hopefully we can offload for about £10-£15m next summer, i like the guy but was dead against his signing because i knew he was nowhere near good enough, although he did do much better than was appreciated before the injury.
 

Just putting this out here, la's: Fanatik can best be summed up as a joke site.

I want him gone as much as anyone but the champagne is on ice still.
 
Would hopefully signify Silva’s faith in Lookman.

It shouldn’t be glossed over lightly what big decisions are being made here. Rooney Funes Mori and Bolasie are big players who weaker managers could (and did) hang their hats on.
