2018/19 Yannick Bolasie

I have GOT to stop clicking on this thread. Every time it moves up the page I get all giddy at the possibility that we have finally sold this utter waster... God he's awful. Gotta be the worst big-money signing we've ever made. We should arrange his kidnapping and claim on the insurance.

In situations like this I am often to agree with the most obvious answer. I suspect Bolasie feels he is ready to get into the Everton team. He clearly felt he wasn't fully fit, and that was what was preventing him from performing to the best of his ability. I am doubtful the management share his view. He's back now though and until he goes I suppose he has to be an option.
Mate are you serious that you think that Bolasie is an option

I'm sure Silva got a surprise at Finch Farm today

Just home from work, not been near the internet all afternoon. Genuine conversation with my 7 year old son as I walked through the door follows:

Son (excitedly): “Daddy, daddy, Everton have signed someone!”
Me (also excitedly): “Excellent, about time too. Who is it?”
Son: “He’s from Aston Villa”
Me (not so excitedly): “Oh right. What’s his name then?”
Son: “Yannick someone”
Me (under my breath): “Oh FFS”

He wasn't good enough to get a regular place in a championship team and most of their fans have got nothing good to say about him and are delighted to see the back of him. How anyone can think that he might suddenly be good enough for a struggling for form Everton now is honestly absolutely beyond me. All this has brought us is a very high wage packet that produces nothing and gives us less chance of bringing in a proper quality player that could offer us something to improve us.

I just hope that he has only come back because he has somewhere else to go for the rest of season.

It's called desperation...

And we are at that point
