In situations like this I am often to agree with the most obvious answer. I suspect Bolasie feels he is ready to get into the Everton team. He clearly felt he wasn't fully fit, and that was what was preventing him from performing to the best of his ability. I am doubtful the management share his view. He's back now though and until he goes I suppose he has to be an option.

Someone has put on Twitter he was loaned for the season, so breaking it now would leave us to foot the bill for his wages till the end of the season. Would villa have to pay a break clause? Or is he off somewhere else?

Supposedly Bolasie had a clause inserted into the loan deal with Villa that allowed him too cut it short if he so wished.

Going by what Villa fans have been saying about him since he went to them on loan he’s been gash, so if he thinks he’s been performing he must be deluded.
