Turkish-Football - a month ago

Recently appointed Fenerbahce sporting director Damien Comolli has reportedly made an offer and spoken to Bolasie’s representatives. The 29-year-old was said to be hesitant about a move to Turkey until speaking to Cenk Tosun who previously played in the Super Lig.

It is worth underlining that ever since Ali Koc won the presidential election over a fortnight ago the club have been linked with so many players that we have lost count. The Yellow Canaries are in pursuit of a new winger and have prioritized loan moves due to financial troubles.

By “proven Premier league players in their peak”, they literally meant anyone currently playing in the Premier League who was absolutely no younger than 27.

We spent £47 mil on a now 27 year old striker and a soon to be 30 year old winger just this January.

I honestly can totally understand why Mosh might want to be a bit more conservative.

Probably the best we could hope for sadly!

Honestly, I think it's a logical move. Bolasie I know drives many here crazy, but he wasn't that bad when he first joined. Coming off that injury, it should be no surprise he wasn't very effective or was inconsistent. He should do well in Turkey and get back to fitness as well. Honestly, at his age, he's not going to be worth too much if we ever wanted to move him, but he might restore some of his value if he dazzles in Turkey.

It also means we are in for a wide player, as we really don't have any, OR Silva is going to play with inside forwards almost exclusively and try and get a left back that can attack and has more pace than Baines.

He really was though. As in really, really bad.

He's never had a good game for us - not a single one. He's had good moments (the odd cross for Lukaku around November/December) but he didn't have one good game.
