He may not add anything on the pitch but his lovely character and smile will fill the void of niasse's that the squad would have lacked. I see nothing but positives with this move.

Could it not be, and I hope I'm wrong here, that this is part of the purse-tightening measures? It is clear we are lacking pace and power up top (the only 2 things Bolasie has) and Brands might have told Silva via the board that he has to find internal solutions? If so, they will probably look at it as, If he helps us out, it will be easier to sell him too come summer. If this theory is correct, we might also start to see attempts made to introduce the likes of Hornby.

Hope I'm wrong like!
that's what ive just pondered.

reeks of desperation. and we are absolutely desperate.

its that or, Wealdstone are back in for him

hahaha I can not believe this.

We can't even keep our crap players out on loan.

The worst of it is yet to come.

Glad he’s back home at the Family Club. I cannot wait to see some more of his rap videos from Finch Farm...he looks such a nice bloke and it’s great he found the right club to nurture his rap talents,

Why, because he'd lose more value being found out in the championship as opposed to the bottom half of the PL?

What did we expect to achieve from that loan?

1. Improve value?
2. Loan club purchase him?
3. Learn more about that player/give him experience?
4. Free up wages for the short term.

1 and 2 were never going to happen. 3 is no. 4 is the desperate, nuclear option that I think we've perhaps been guilty of a bit too much, too soon with offloading players.

Anyway, welcome back Yannick. Like a new signing, or something. Now sell him to a knee-jerk club on deadline day who are desperate to appease moody Twitterati.
