He crosses without looking up. Simply by watching him play you can see this.

Please stop this nonsense and calling people dishonest about what they have witnessed with their own eyes.

The bloke is a total donkey.
What a gift. Like the strikers who just know where the goal is. Hope he returns home soon

Sorry mate but if you're saying his crossing being good doesn't count because he didn't look or something, that's made up. Did he put the ball into good areas repeatedly? Did he create chances from crosses? Did we score goals from his crosses? In his first half season the answer to all those is yes. But because sometimes he just put it into an area, they don't count? Nah, not for me.

It's funny that I have to defend Bolasie, but you guys are just so off the mark with this. He was very bad when he returned from injury, but he just wasn't like that beforehand.

I agree, I always considered him a bit rubbish, sure he would turn up now and again and he had Skilllzzzzzzzzzzzz, but he was never for me, but as you say before his injury I thought he was a very good attacking tool for us, who knows how long it would have lasted and since the injury hes been utter dire, but hardly anybody will accept that pre-injury he was looking quite good.

What's weird is that you defend a player who unilaterally cancelled a loan deal at a club he was getting playing time with, and who was covering a decent part of his wages, so that he could sit on his posterior raking it in for doing literally nothing at the club you purport to support whilst at the same time persistently laying into another player who busts his gut for us on the pitch alongside incessant bleating about laughable agendas from other posters.

You have truly drifted into the realm of self-parody. I'm increasingly certain that you are actually a troll in a basement in Skem rather than an irony-deficient Floridian or whatever it is you claim to be.

Personally, I can understand a player who has played top flight football for 6 or 7 years straight not wanting to be a bit part player at a Championship team. And what are you actually talking about with the sitting down and raking it in? He went back on loan to Anderlecht and played significantly more consistently there. He was only here for a few weeks while sorting that move out, and he never intended to stay, just go out somewhere else. So whatever you're talking about didn't happen.

Maybe stop concerning yourself with me and actually type something into the search bar before talking nonsense.

He's a hero, I wish we had more players like him.

No, he was less bad, this is true, but he was still decidedly ordinary on his...and I use the term loosely...good days.

We vastly overpaid him and for him, It was effectively £28 up the Swanee + wages, not his fault though.
Like all these Niasses, Bolasies, etc. They didn't sign themselves, the true fault is and was , with those who did sign them...and those who signed off on it, if anybody did, which is another crime.

Did somebody sign off on these or didn't they - its hard to say which is the bigger sin.

Sins of omission or sins of comission? Which is the bigger sin

That, as the say, would be an ecumenical matter.

@Reverand Tallywacker - come on down.

These good crosses hes making...when he has no awareness of where his teammates are how is he able to know which part of the box to aim at?

He doesnt look up and just boots the ball...sometimes it goes to the other flank, sometimes to the opposition...sometimes out of play...sometimes he falls over...

...and very very rarely it is effective.

The focal point of our team was a dice roll and you had to roll a 6 for the cross to be worthwhile.

£28million...

This great crossing ability he has (lol) why wasnt he doing that at Palace or any club since?

Is it because hes NOT able to cross effectively.

You're absolutely bang on, he was a random ball generator. A few of those ended up in good areas and on even fewer occasions a forward happened to be coincidentally in a position to take advantage of that. Now though, he is just a huge drain on our resources. He was a mediocre signing at best before the injury, post-injury (not his fault) he has turned into a disaster. I will be very surprised if we can even loan him out this summer and no one will pay him anywhere near what we are, so even on a free there seems to be no prospect of him leaving on a permanent deal.

He did do it for Palace the season before we bought him and he hasn't done it since because the knee injury ended his time as a decent player which I've been saying since the start.

But this is just silly. How many players hit every cross where they want it to go? I'd say Digne is good at it, but I've seen shockers from him. Part of being an attacking player is failing because you're trying to do something that is extremely difficult.

Now to be fair, if your problem is with the style that Koeman was trying to use with him in the team, I agree. But that isn't a criticism of Bolasie.

And for the very very rarely effective part, well it certainly wasn't good enough, but which of our creative players since then have been more effective? The answer sadly is no one. Which is why I can't understand his abuse going above and beyond what others seem to get.

It's rare that people go the opposite way on luck in sports and say that it is all down to that, but it is just as wrong as saying luck has no effect.

I was going to suggest having him put crosses in for the forwards at training as theyre so random perhaps it may help the forwards reactions and movement in some way.

Then i realised that was total nonsense lol

This is absolutely ridiculous now.

Look I guess we aren't going to agree so you can keep going on and on about how he's the worst player you ever saw and I'll continue to believe that there is more than one way to get the job done so as ugly as it was he was ultimately an average player.

A bad signing when the money is factored in no doubt.
