How is this his fault? He's not in the squad, not by his choice, should he just sit at home?

You might not like him, or the show (I don't watch it, haven't done for years) but people go on that show all the time. I seem to remember Jagielka going on when he was injured before the Cup final. Bolasie isn't injured, but he is similarly not allowed to play.

Give the guy a break. If it was up to him, if it was his choice, he'd be in the squad. And it's not like he's missed out this week so he's gone rogue, he's not even eligible to be in it.

He will likely be gone in January, and that will the end of a sad chapter for both him and us. But there's really no need to criticise him any more than he has been already.
